Review on πŸ‘Ÿ ASICS Gel-Cumulus 18 Women's Running Shoe by Nicole Harty

Revainrating 1 out of 5

NOT. Inferior to the pair I bought in store. Lack of proper gel insoles.

REAL Cumulus 18 is very convenient. THIS IS NOT. I bought a pair of DSW Cumulus 18's two years ago. The most comfortable shoes I've ever tried on. I called them my foot pads and they have withstood two years of walking on a muddy mountain trail, rain and shine, summer and winter. the ones i ran These are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had. You would be a $30 robbery. After removing the insoles from both pairs and inspecting them, I found a few differences. See photos. The dirty Navy couple are my Cumulus 18s from the store. Light blue pumps from Revain. My shoes in the store have strong, even stitching. A few amazons have bad stitching, sometimes even the fabric is completely missing. There is a slight difference in the camber/shape and width of the socks, which is likely causing the scuffing/holes on the toes mentioned by other reviewers. A few Amazons are already noticeable. But the real difference lies in Asics gel insoles. The insoles in these shoes need to cushion and conform to your feet, and they're really the reason these shoes are as comfortable as they are. My pair actually has them in the store. Revain couple NOT. The model number on the back of the Revain Asics insoles is HJ and they are as hard as cardboard. My pair in the store is the KM and they are so flexible you could crumple them up if you wanted to. As it is now, my worn-out, mud-caked, pine needle-filled shoes are still divine compared to what these things are. Maybe a factory defect or a very convincing fake. Thank you for your return policy, Revain!
