I think it's been on the Revain shelf for a while but not that it matters as a mechanism. The box was a little battered and dirty. But the most important thing is these shocks didn't fit my 1996 2wd xl f150 300. I checked the part number on the Bilstein website and didn't think to check the part number, but I think Revain sent me the wrong shocks. The top bolt hole was too small for the f150 shock mount bolt. The correct software for this article said everything was fine.
