I got this bike headlight from Weihao to give my e-bike extra light - the stock headlight has too narrow a beam for safe night riding. This spotlight is pretty bright - there's a bright hotspot, but there's also plenty of ambient light, so it illuminates a larger area. It has a fairly large separate battery connected to the flashlight with a waterproof connector. Separating the light from the battery is a good idea for weight distribution — if it were a single unit, the light would be so heavy it wouldn't stay in place — but it adds clutter to your bike. with the silicone strap available in 2 different lengths and the battery with Velcro to bypass the bike camera. Installation was quick and easy and the headlight stays in place. It has 3 different modes: light, dark and flashing. I only use the bright mode which again is enough to illuminate the path in front of you with enough diffused light to see the road around you to help you avoid road debris/defects. The power button is on the back of the flashlight and always shows the status (green - battery is good, > 60%, red - 30-60%, and below that it flashes red). The manufacturer specifies a battery life. 3.5 hours on bright mode and I realize I only need to charge once a week. The charger has a cylindrical DC plug; You must disconnect the light from the battery to charge it. I would have liked a USB-C port. Overall, I'm very happy with the brightness and battery life, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. The only downside is that it doesn't have a USB-C charging port and I would have preferred more dimming so I could crank it up more without blinding people.
