I'm not the most experienced person when it comes to telescopes, but I have this to help me learn. I tried to see Jupiter and Saturn but couldn't find them after 20-30 minutes of searching (this is because I mistyped the finderscope). In the end I came across Saturn quite by accident. After zooming to the maximum all I could see was a white, very blurry oval too small to make out. i want to return it The best I could do was zoom in on the moon and even that got blurry if I zoomed in too far. not right.
