We decided to order this to restore my dad's hair, we did not cremate him but decided to keep some of his hair which has fallen out due to chemo. It was definitely difficult to get strands of hair that are clear as to what they are. They were originally intended for use however I DEFINITELY recommend everyone to consider these necklaces, be it ashes or hair. It's the simplest thing that makes me feel like my dad is there for me.
