I can't tell if this product works which means my refill still smells. I returned to dr. Return Elsley's clay bier. It forms hard clumps, drains the faeces, clumps less than other litters and is odorless. I've tried clumping crystal litter but it smelled awful, I've tried finer clay litter which was soft on my cat's paws, didn't follow as much but the clumps broke up and I had to chase them around the crate. The feces didn't dry up. In other words, it stunk too. It might work, but filler works best for me.
