Lie from the product description! This vanity mirror was said to be battery operated, rechargeable and powered from a wall outlet. So I figured I would buy a makeup mirror with a backup power supply. NO, it's all wrong! Works only when connected to the wall. This is strange because there is a battery compartment on the back of the mirror. but it's broken and won't turn on from batteries. Also the ionic air filter is a bunch of BS. There is no such thing. And I thought it sounded too good to be true so I ordered it to see for myself and I was right the product description and advertising are wrong. There is nothing superfluous in this mirror. In general, it's just a tri-fold LED makeup mirror with a tiny storage tray at the base of the mirror, which can't hold much, especially makeup brushes or most makeup products. It also comes with a 5x magnification mirror which has suction cups on the back to attach to the mirror. But somehow disproportionate, I think. I made a video to support my review
