The design without rings is exactly what I was looking for!
I love these easy-care metal bowls. My chinchilla seems to like it too and now she can't accidentally turn her pellet bowl upside down. I was looking for a bowl that mounts to the wall of the cage and doesn't have a ring holder as I personally don't think they are safe for chinchillas that jump and run around the cage all day. No, I haven't read any horror stories or anything like that, but you can never be sure because they are so fragile. And I even have one to wear and a spare! I couldn't be happier with my purchase
