They work well, I've had no problems with them
I use them to add gauges as well as NPT (National Tapered Pipe) water lines as they have one male connector instead of three female ones. this creates a shorter thunk for my application. These are standard tapered threads (seems more and more straight tube fittings are labeled as tapered these days)
