The oven protector is a nice soft product that is easy to clean. But there was a larger gap on one side of my oven; but the guard still seemed big enough. But the material of the product is very flexible (liked that for a narrower gap and it will fall through a larger gap (maybe an inch wide gap). I reinforced the comb at the bottom with silicone sealant and now it works fine. I too wish they did would have been about two inches longer as the material is so flexible it would have been easy to cut them to length and trim the back to fit the back of the stove.
