I have tried many Garmin and Suunto watches this year. Before buying it I had a Garmin Venu that fell off in a minor mountain bike accident and only realized it was gone after the bike park closed. The Venu was a pleasure to use, but unless you're an avid runner I see no point in buying it. I didn't want to buy a refurbished watch and my intuition was correct. Communication and notifications were beyond finicky. I'm very tech savvy and couldn't get my phone and watch to work properly together. I hard reset my iPhone X and checked multiple times and was bombarded with old messages from a week ago. Also on the return slip I just printed a 10-50% refill of this POS from the seller. The information is vague and it's more than a wide range of fees. I don't normally write negative reviews and I understand that an item can be defective, but being able to charge a $100 restocking fee is absurd. I will update my review once the watch has been returned and hopefully refunded.
