Bad design
The tape was already worn off and I just took them out of the box and put them on the table. I figured it might just be the outer layer of the tape because it was bouncing around in the container or something, but I used one of those and as soon as you touch the tape the gold pattern disappears more so it looks normal at first, but just that Flattening of the band makes it weird. Wouldn't recommend it. I will probably still use them for small jobs but was very disappointed with the quality.
