I've been to Chicago with them all winter. I like them, but with a few caveats. 1) The velcro at the bottom was too short and didn't help at all. i cut it off Maybe my shoes are wider than RockBros expected. Anyway, they hold up great, so I cut off the velcro that was always dangling from the soles of my shoes. The rubber alone works great. 2) For reference, they keep my toes warm and dry in temperatures ranging from 0 to 20F. Chicago can get a little humid and a little windy. These make it great. BUT, you have to pair them with something like mid-weight merino socks. On their own, they won't warm your feet. But they are a good ingredient.
