I've had this knife for a few months now and so far so good. I use it two or three times a year. Every day I cut meat, vegetables and it's even sharp enough to slice the perfect piece of bread. I take very good care of it, unlike my cheap knives. It never goes in the dishwasher, I hand wash it after each use. Palm, tore off a piece from the tip of the thumb, so be very careful when cleaning and using as it is very sharp. So far he had held the blade without showing any bluntness. It doesn't look as pretty as the photo but I think when it comes to Damascus design no two knives are alike and it's heavy, especially when you use it for the first time.
