This review is for the APEC 75 GPD (ESSENCE ROES-UV75) 6-Stage Super Safe Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filtration System. The system was very easy to install (about 1.5 hours) once you read and followed the instructions. The instructions are very detailed with good illustrations and pictures of the system. The colored tubes helped a lot! The system was packaged well and delivered on time with no damage. We have very good water pressure and it took about 1.5 hours to fill the tank the first time. Depending on your water pressure, you can get different results. APEC offers options for low pressure systems. The UV lamp requires a standard plug. The transformer was larger than expected, but there was enough room to plug in a plug next to it to clear debris. I don't notice the first glass/cup of water being warm as others have pointed out. This may be because APEC has changed the water regime and it is going through a 6th stage filter before exiting the faucet. After the system had been running for about a week, I tested the water with a HM Digital TDS-EZ water quality tester. . Tap water measures 257 ppm, filtered water measures 7 ppm.
