Look good before use
I think it's my fault for trying to be flashy. The kickstand I have for my 390 Duke came with a pair of black ones, but I liked the orange hard-anodized idea. This anodizing is about as hard as ice cream and the scratches are only visible after a single use. My black pair has no scratches at all after a few months of use. I wouldn't buy them again.
