Avoid if possible, I bought two of these, one died after 18 months. I bought another one and the second one just died. I had both on a backup UPS (APC Smart-UPS 3000VA) which is also a surge protector and they were properly grounded and I don't see what could be causing them to fail other than poor quality. For now I'll throw them away and look elsewhere. I'd rather pay once than go back and forth to replace a cheap device. I tried to contact them when the first one failed and was ignored. I didn't even try the second because I already know the result and don't want to lose any time. You get what you pay for.
