This laptop cooler solved my 17 inch laptop's heat problem. I worked a lot with video and the laptop got very hot. I had to replace the case because the heat collapsed and eventually destroyed it. The new case started cracking due to the heat so I found this cooler. Connecting to any of my 4 USB ports works very well. It's very quiet and since I started using it I haven't had any heat issues no matter how many videos I make. Its hind legs can be raised or closed. I grew up so I have the best angels for typing and using the keyboard. I don't know how it could be better. I will buy it again and highly recommend it.
