I've been researching and using other scrubbers for about a year. I started with sponges until I realized how quickly they fade and what they are made of. Then I used scrubbing brushes with a wooden handle and a metal head holder. While they were expensive and the bristles worked wonders for my dishes, I found that no matter how I tried to dry the brush and handle, the metal would rust. This brush is made entirely of wood and even the end of the handle where the head screws in is made of wood. The handle and brush dry quickly so we haven't had any mold issues yet. I plan to keep buying nozzles for this brush!
