The canvas straps that came with my everyday "shop" watch were getting rough. I wear this watch when working in my shop or outdoors, so the old strap has seen quite a bit of abuse.This new strap looks sharp, seems thick and durable, and I'm super happy with it. It came with a mini tool to pop off the old straps (it actually worked really well), and the new straps clicked right in. The spring loaded pin was already installed in each of the straps-- and if you look close at my third pic (check the strap with the buckle that I have laying upside down, look where it'll connect to my watch) there is a little tab on the spring loaded pins that lets you compress the spring with your finger nail when you pull it back. What this means is that you don't need a tool to install the new straps-- stick one end of the pin in, compress the spring, line it up with the hole, and let go. The little tab sits flush with the strap and is on the inside after you install it, so you can't even tell it's there. Really clever, I hadn't seen those types of pins before.I think overall install time was a couple of minutes. I'll update this review down the road once it's seen a bit more wear and tear, but right now it seems rugged and durable and I expect it to hold up well.
