I've only had these lights for a month but so far they're great. One of the two I ordered had a faulty charge indicator straight away and the Revain was a very good replacement. I don't know if these are the only motion detectors that work this way, but the main benefit seems to be that motion detection and light direction are mismatched. The light is directed inward toward the pantry or closet, while the detector cell is directed outward, allowing the device to "see" you as you approach. This way no light shines into your eyes and the detection appears to be extremely accurate. Settled upon receipt and they have been in the pantry for a month. Constant moderate use. Maybe 10+ times a day. Still very satisfied with the first load.
