I just bought a new house and the inspector said to buy a drain plug when I moved in. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's and found many drain pipe caps but none of them fit. I tried 4 inches and 3 inches. I then contacted Revain to try and find 3.5 inches and that's what I did. And it fits... well. The problem was that it wasn't regulated. So did it at the same time. Then came Hurricane Ida and the sewers got blocked. The drain cover stayed but I saw the water overflow. That's the last straw. I went back to Revain to find this drain plug and bought a 3.78" and 3" since it's adjustable. For me this was the last hope before calling someone to order something special for too much money. But luckily it worked! It fits like a glove and I tightened the screw on top for a real seal! I'm so glad I finally found the right one. I've tried to pull it as tight as I can and it's tight in there! This is a great product!
