excellent value for money, reliable product. Plastic stopper made of very hard plastic. So if the door is slammed shut all the way quickly, there's a pretty loud bang. I didn't feel any damage to the doors, just a loud bang. I attached a thin self-adhesive silicone pad to each end and the problem was completely solved. If you enter your rooms like most normal adults, this is not a problem. I have young children who like to break into any room they enter and adults often kick the door with their feet or hips with their hands full.
