I was impressed with the quality as soon as I took it out of the box. Stainless steel is thick and polished. The edge is rolled nicely and evenly. There is a thick disk at the bottom of the pot. Volume measurements are embossed evenly on the side of the pot. This is a sign of a more precise manufacturing process. I have postponed the review until I have tried it. I didn't see any functional difference between this and the original nonstick pot. It sealed and rose under pressure in the same amount of time as the Cuisinart CPC-600 did with its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) pan. I think this has some advantages over the original as the original pot doesn't have a thick disk at the bottom to distribute the heat evenly like this one does. . This costs just under $33 with shipping. I prefer this pot and will use it from now on, keeping the original non-stick coating just as a backup. I highly recommend this replacement pot. I bet you ditch your original pot and use this one instead.
