On the plus side, this simple, inexpensive kit is a good concept for beginners or artists who are experimenting with embossing powder for the first time and want to see if they want to do it. It's easy to use if you follow the instructions. But this disappointed me as I was expecting finer powders that would follow the contours of my stamps better. Powders don't react very quickly to heat and tend not to stick and smudge. The heating tool is not very powerful; it takes a long time to get any results. But I think you get what you pay for. I just wanted to experiment, but for the work I'm doing I need better material.
