I was very skeptical about ordering these straps because of the plastic buckles. I didn't think the plastic buckets would hold up as well as the metal military buckles I've been using for years. Unfortunately, the quality of military style metal buckles has dropped drastically over the past few years, so I figured I had nothing to lose by trying these straps. I'm really glad I tried them. I'm a big 300+ guy and these straps have held up well for the month I've been using them. Basically no problems. Very easy to put on and they go great with my work pants, blue jeans and Wrangler cargo shorts. Once you tighten the strap to the desired tension, it stays in place. I will definitely buy these belts again.
