I'm using this for a styrofoam based imitation train. This works well with a low temp glue gun and will hold well once cured. It holds curved straight pieces of foam; They form a bed for the movement of the train. The risers are designed to flex, but still need a little reinforcement to keep them in this unnatural position. This glue holds them well. It also adheres well to other parts of the layout; Overall, I would buy more of these glue sticks if needed; they are significantly cheaper than those recommended by the system manufacturer.
