You definitely get what you pay for and it's worth it. I used to have a Brita and those things didn't really filter anything. It has a legitimate filter that really takes time to filter. This is not an instant gratification water filter. It is worth waiting for high-quality clean water. The only problem is the base that holds the filter/water, you have to secure it, if you tilt it too much it can slide out. Save money and microplastics by buying bottled water.
