Review on EVEO Premium Dual Monitor Stand Mount - Ultrawide Screen Desk Mount with Full Motion Mechanics, Adjustable Height/Tilt/Swivel/Rotation - Holds 18.5lbs/arm by Chase Arellano

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Plastic clips that attach the monitor to the arm. (updated monitor is heavier)

Pros: For the most part, it looks very premium. This greatly reduced the shake on my cheap second monitor, although it increased the shake on my Viewxonic XG 2401 main monitor a bit, although the stand on this thing is pretty squishy. Most parts can be tightened or loosened depending on your preference and the weight of your monitor. It's also incredibly easy to assemble: it's just two tubes that slide together, a desk clip, a VESA mount, and a plastic clip that attaches the monitor to the arm. You can assemble it without any instructions. The bad: I would say the worst part is that the part that attaches the metal arm to the metal VESA mount is a loose piece of plastic that just snaps into place. It doesn't seem to fall out due to the design, but there's a lot of play when you try to tilt the monitor. any reason. I can rotate it left and right easily while holding my monitor, but when I try to tilt it up and down, my main monitor makes a lot of creaking noises that I've never heard from it, so I give up and just grab the tilt mechanism and myself. Another downside would be that you would have to position your hands very oddly so that your monitors are not in front of your face but also next to each other. I almost ended up attaching the thing to my desk on the right side and had to move both of them quite a bit to get it halfway decent. Overall: I'd say it's worth the $65 I paid for it. I no longer have to worry about the quality of your monitor stand, my mouse pad now sits entirely on my desk instead of partially poking out over the edge (due to the size of my monitor stand), and most importantly, I can now have my main monitor right in front of me , without partially obscuring my second monitor and I can position it further back. Note: I will update this review if anything happens or if I get a bigger/heavier monitor. Update: Bought a Dell S3220DGF and it's holding up great. at maximum tension, although I didn't try to release it.
