Review on WÜSTHOF Gourmet 3-Inch Spear Point Paring Knife - High Carbon Stainless Steel Utility Knife, German Precision Laser Cut - Model by Denese Fothergill

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's functional - paring knife

This isn't a very good quality knife, but at $14 I like it. How did you come up with such a gourmet title for this series? Advantages - price. It's comfortable and sharp. Easy to use and very functional. Looks beautiful. Disadvantages - Not traditional Wüsthof quality. The bevel of the blade edge is not polished. It's sharp, but it's not a polished sharp edge. The pen is fine, but I will rinse and dry it every time I use it. Whether you soak it or put it in the dishwasher, don't expect it to hold up well. I'm happy with them for the price. I would buy it again and give it away for the same price, but I wouldn't do it. pay more for it.

Pros
  • Synthetic polypropylene handle with double rivets for durability
Cons
  • Expensive
