Purchased wire made a huge installation in a friends van. The van is always in the garage, never seen rain or snow. Halfway there was a trip to Texas. The generator and battery were blown up. They replaced both, the next day they blew up the generator and battery. When I ripped it apart I discovered that the wire (on the bottom side) had literally turned to powder. $1,500 in pipes. I've been in the car audio industry for 25 years. NEVER seen anything like this. Just a crappy wire. LESSON LEARNED BY THE WAY, it was three wires that failed. Not only one
