Review on 💻 Targus Notebook ChillHub AWE01US - Enhance Your Laptop Cooling and Boost Performance by Dave Brummet

Bought over 2 months ago, I'm still not tired of this little ingenuity. I was looking for a multi USB hub and settled on the Targus Notebook ChillHub because it had a hub and these fans. It works great as a hub, even just plugged into my laptop for use with inexpensive accessories like flash drives etc. When I need more USB power and/or want to use fans to cool my laptop (which is quiet and fine), I plug it into the power adapter. Admittedly it's a bit smaller than my laptop and has slipped off at times when I've moved it, but I fixed that with a small piece of double-sided tape in one corner. And even if it didn't have fans (or I didn't use any), it's good to keep the laptop away from flat surfaces so the heat doesn't have a chance to reach more damaging levels. My only issue with the adapter (hence the 4 stars) which should be unplugged as it still draws power even when unplugged from the chillhub. And when the adapter is connected, it gets very hot even with the fans off. I'm not sure if this will last the lifespan of Chillhub. I don't like its shape either - it's made too wide for its size to accommodate the next fork. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, which was almost half the price at the time. see staples.
