Review on 🚲 Protective Silicone Case for Garmin Edge 1030/1030 Plus - Bike GPS Cover (Black) by Jason Rogness

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For the price unbeatable.

Doesn't quite match Garmin Edge 1030 Plus but works well enough with mods. Although overall the fit is good. The Plus doesn't have the rear top bulge of the original 1030 and has moved one of the Plus's touchports to the rear top left corner, but the Stamp has taken care of that (reference image). It's also not "sticky" like some of the other covers I've read about in the reviews here on Revain. I've only been using it for 3 days but so far so good. I may edit this review later if my opinion on the case changes. EDIT - 10/03/2020 After riding in light rain I realized that the case design might not be very good. If water gets inside the cover, it stays between the cover and the computer until the cover is removed and both it and the computer are dry. Garmin's design (and imitation) is much better as it only covers the edges of the computer, so water that gets between the cover and the computer is less likely to get inside the computer. EDIT - 10/11/2020 Been using the official Garmin Edge 1030 and 1030 Plus case for a while now. I found it much easier to press the start/stop button (bottom right) compared to this cover which was extremely difficult. Also, I forgot to mention in my previous review that I have no problem mounting my 1030 Plus on either a Garmin mountain bike mount or a Garmin front mount that mimics one.
