Installation took approximately 20 minutes. Most of the time was spent removing the old speaker. I only had to replace the left speaker, so I kept the right speaker as a backup should the right speaker fail. I had to use a metal nail file to get the old speaker out. With that done, installation was easy. The new speaker comes with tape for easy sticking. The sound quality is the same as the original. It was great that the kit included tools to open the laptop case.
