The clasps are not attached
I ordered this model because of the clasps but found they were not connected to the chain --?! I had to use my own connecting rings to attach each clasp to the chain. An extender chain is useless if it can't be hooked onto the opposite end of a necklace or bracelet, so I don't understand how to leave the clasps loose. Now I realize that if I look closely, the photo shows loose fasteners, but that doesn't make any sense to me.
