Obvious use of "4 mil" and "Heavy Duty" catchphrases that don't even meet the spec. to sell the product. In the Google search engine, the term "mil" means thousandths of an inch. This is NOT 4 mils (actually called 4 thousand if you have calipers) but 2.5 mils. They measure 0.0025 inches on the flat side, which is half the thickness listed. Anyone with a cheap $10 caliper (even from Harbor Freight) can take a look. These bags are 0.0025mm thick on the non-embossed side making them the same thickness as FoodSaver's "regular bags" and NOT 4 mil. The 4 mil bags are thicker and more durable than NONE! I omitted the picture above to let people know and I'll correct my review when you start telling the truth.
