I'm so glad I bought this cage for my two guinea pigs, they love it so much. At first they were a bit afraid to walk up the ramp, they are babies and have only been in a small starting cage so far, but I put soft pieces of a baby blanket on the ramp which I cut off and they ended up climbing and descending is not Problem. I keep the side door open and build a small cage around it so they can go out and run whenever they want, but at night they always sleep right in this cage and they are well hidden 💤. Very glad I bought it. Ouch…. They can chew parts of the cage, but if you sprinkle lemon juice on the sides of the tree they're chewing on and make sure they have plenty of chew toys, they'll stop chewing on the cage tree. You hate the taste of lemon juice, so it works!
