Review on Convenient and Efficient: FoodSaver 31161370 Cordless Handheld Food Vacuum Sealer by Sara Houck

When this product worked it was very easy to use and worked great with a few exceptions. If there was some liquid in the bag (not at all, no soup or anything like that, just some bacon) then the machine will try to suck the liquid in through the vacuum hole and won't suck out the remaining air. The reason this gets a 1 star rating is twofold. Even when the product worked the battery life was terrible but after 2 weeks and only 10 uses this thing died. It shows a green light when charging, but activates suction when trying to use it. There is a portable version with cords so I think I'll try that now as I'm stuck with a bunch of vacuum bags that are useless at the moment. Very disappointed with the lifespan of this product! Buyers beware of this product which will not last long.
