Blanket is as advertised; it's large, light weight, and has a ruggedness that seems like it would stand up well to animals laying on it.I'm using this to cover a brick mantle in front of a fireplace that we're not using.
we have another blanket for initial layer of padding, and this will lay on top of that one, to prevent little ones from being around too harsh of surfaces. The blanket matches the room it'll be placed in, and I'm happy with this because it's just what i expected based on the product advertisement.
