My plants and I love dates... Well, they may not appreciate it directly, but they are healthier as a result of my heightened awareness. The sheer volume of these bad things that come with it makes me want to toss them all over the house. I even planted some directly in the pot, which helped me understand that there is a big difference between ambient moisture and pot moisture in healthy plants. My best plants like 15-22 units more humidity than the room. Combined with a 3-in-1 soil tester (assuming it's sold by another vendor) I feel more aware and comfortable knowing what the plants want. .
