Almost too strong! I bought this to replace my previous B&D hand mixer that burned out while making a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Where my previous blender struggled, this one did without a whimper. The dough was thrown out of the bowl on the first shot. Note to self, use a larger bowl next time. I didn't have to use the "Turbo" button, but I tried before I started this cookie series. Basically, it's like flipping a switch to the next higher setting, but with more control as you can quickly tap and press the button while continuing to mix with one hand. knead.
