Most ice cream on the market has corn syrup and sugar in it. I wanted a small ice cream maker and this is perfect. If you follow the instructions, you will get delicious frozen ice cream. I freeze the cream and then thaw it a bit before using it. This will help make the ice more frozen. I also put ice cream in the freezer for a few hours after making it. I use Splenda instead of sugar and the ice cream and sorbets are delicious.
