Unfortunately it doesn't work very well even though it's only been a few months. When I plug it into my computer and plug the computer's power cord into it, it barely charges the iPhone 7 Plus. If the device requires power, like an external drive, it won't work very well and you may forget to charge your iPad while using the dongle and computer. It's a good looking product, great idea but in this case I regret buying it. a USB port in favor of a new charging connector in a different form factor. here we are. I love the look of this device and I think the packaging was super professional. The price is right and I'm very happy so far. To be honest I don't like that I have to have a dongle key to charge my computer while my phone is charging, but since I do. This product helps a little. I connected it to my MacBook, turned on my iPhone 7Plus and was in business. To be honest I will say that I also tried to plug in my iPad Pro 12.9 and it did NOT charge, BUT. It could be the plug, I'm not sure yet. Like I said, it's a smart product and it "matches" the look of the MacBook, so I'm very happy with it. If I could get it to charge a 12.9 inch iPad that would be a bonus! Thanks for a good product!
