The cable is thicker than the cable that came with my Chrysler Pacifica from the manufacturer. Works great, no problems. Added a 240V power supply and still used the extension cord. Everything works great in the New Jersey climate. I use it outside. Update: September 15, 2021 It's been a year and the cable is holding up great. No signs of weathering or wear. I'll take him down the sidewalk with the cable guard. But the electrical inspector told me three things, nothing against the quality of the product: (1) the charger is subject to approval; (2) You can't run a cable in a track even with a protector. He should be buried; (3) The cable is not U/V marked for outdoor use. But a year later it's still a good buy and works great outdoors.
