This is a good portable laptop computer. It looks very small in the photos, and it is, so I was afraid it would be uncomfortable to play with. Most of the time I play is around 20 minutes while waiting in the car and I have never felt uncomfortable playing. I was also concerned about the placement of those shoulder buttons, and that concern was somewhat valid. While your fingers rest well on the same l1 and r1, the l2 and r2 buttons are very difficult to reach to the point where I really don't want to use them. The good news is that most of the games you can play don't use them. Let's talk about gaming, this system runs on the Dingux open platform and can run any of the older systems up to PSX very well, although not all PSX games work well. but there will be some. However, there are no analog sticks on this system, which means that not all games for the PSX platform will be playable without them. Everything from N64 is basically unplayable. Build quality, build quality is out of this world. If Nintendo had made it themselves, I don't think it would have felt that good in the hand. The overlay on the front of the device is made of metal, it is made of pleasantly structured plastic. The keys are neither soft nor hard, just perfect. The D button seemed great to me, although this is very subjective. The screen is very very good, better than other Anbernic products I've had in the past in my opinion, it even has a nice glass lens over the screen. Overall good value for money, honestly it's a little pricey especially considering the rg351p is a little more expensive and as I said this device is very compact making it the device I go for when I'm on the go . On the other hand, the lack of analog and the location of the L2 and R2 shoulder buttons can make some games impossible or difficult to play. It also runs the old open source Dingux instead of the newer Emulec, which limits it somewhat. That being said, if that's the form factor you want, then this device is worth it.
