Review on WEme USB 2.0 Extender: RJ45 Over Cat5e/Cat6 Cable, 100m Ethernet Extension Type A Male to A Female with Power Adapter by Evan Hernandez

It all started with my desire to reduce the number of computers in my house. If I could get a USB extender, I could get rid of a computer that runs 24/7. This computer was at my music store with 4 DACs connected to 4 amplifiers. He ran the Jriver Media Center, so I played music all over the house. Just below is my windows file server which is also open 24/7. I decided to combine them and get rid of the music computer, all I had to do was get a USB extension cable. I have a WEMe USB extender (4 ports). I was already running Cat 5e so it was just plug and play. At first it worked perfectly. A day later I combined the zone of the garage and living quarters, but only one zone played. Note that the USB extension can only play 2 audio channels at the same time. I even ran a Category 6e cable to see if that would help or not.
