I patched my nylon tent that was chewed through by a chipmunk. In the evenings the villain wandered around our camp, and at night he tried to get into the tent. He gnawed a hole in the lattice and an even larger one in the floor of the tent between the floor and the door. The tape stuck well and looks like it will stay. Their same brand mesh patches didn't hold up at all. I even tried placing them on each side of the mesh opposite each other hoping the glue would seep through the mesh. Vain. Only gravity let them fall as I pitched the tent. However, I sewed a round patch (loosely) onto the mesh and then cut a ring from the repair kit tape and slipped it over the stitching. I used a bar stool as a work surface. The glue went straight through the mesh of the tent and stuck to the seat of the chair. Looks like it's holding up now. If there are problems I may have to go back and downgrade. However, it looks like the real deal. Now all I have to do is get some chipmunk traps. Or just lay a piece of this tape right side up. That should slow him down. I've attached a photo of him that should be on the Wanted poster.
