I had problems with my laptop overheating due to the design, also because the docking stations were far from the computer (not under it), the airflow around the computer was less. They worked great. I have to say I bought 2, one for each computer, but the width when fully open was only 6.25 inches. I have a 14.75 inch laptop. So I put both under a laptop. Now it is very durable. The price was really reasonable so I will be ordering 2 more for my other computer.
