Good for holding knives
I use this to store knives instead of utensils as my kid kept opening drawers in the kitchen to look for stuffs to play with. So i have to move knives to where she cant reach yet still convenient for me for everyday usage. I dont like regular knife block holders as my knives are not in set, i.e. unmatched and thus they dont fit in a block holder. So this holder is really what i ve been looking for. Its tall, sturdy and big enough to hold all kind of knives of different sizes. Thumbs up!
- Made with real wood, very decorative and it goes with my kitchen style. I bough two fo this.
- The wood may be too porous, causing it to absorb moisture and potentially grow mold or bacteria
