I was most interested in this item because it has a rechargeable handle. We've had intermittent blackouts for nearly a week earlier this year and didn't have a USB port to charge to save in the car and if we didn't have AA batteries - well, a radio with that particular manual feature would be a problem. good to have A USB port and a mini solar panel are probably useful additions. This device is small - about the size of a few packets of oil put together - but has an acceptable sound. Although made in China.
